Fire is central to South American shamanism. It is very cleansing to the body, mind and soul. Ceremonies involve some rattling, some chanting and the burning of flammable objects, be it a stick or paper, that has been infused by the breathe or writing with something we want to hand over to Spirit. This could be our future intentions for our lives, our past traumas and pains, our thanks to our teachers, or whatever needs to be given to Spirit at this time. Typically, we follow the full moon cycles because this brings us back to cyclical time and the rhythms of nature. The following is a list of full moons over the next year. The Moon names are from the Farmer’s Almanac. You should plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the ceremony time. All times are EST.

These sittings provide one with a chance to ask questions about Trillium Awakening and Self-realization and to explore the totality of one's Being. It also provides an opportunity to sit with others who are at various stages of their own realization and relish the feeling of community.

At the time of this Spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of the robins. This is also known as the Sap Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins.
